OurPaisa is a community for people interested in money, markets, investing, trading, personal finance, and wealth building.
These Community Guidelines are designed to keep discussions useful, respectful, authentic, and safe for everyone.

1. Be Respectful
Treat other members with respect.

Healthy disagreement is welcome. Personal attacks are not.

You do not have to agree with another user’s opinion to participate respectfully.

OurPaisa allows discussions about:

Financial discussions should not be presented in a deliberately deceptive or fraudulent manner.
Do not claim guaranteed profits or guaranteed investment outcomes.
Users should clearly distinguish between personal opinions, experiences, educational information, and verified facts where appropriate.
4. No Scams or Fraud
Do not use OurPaisa to:
- Scam other users
- Request money through deceptive schemes
- Promote fraudulent investment opportunities
- Impersonate financial institutions or professionals
- Promote fake investment platforms
- Make fraudulent return or profit claims
- Collect another person’s financial credentials
- Trick users into transferring money
If something appears suspicious, report it to OurPaisa.
5. Protect Personal and Financial Information
Never publicly share sensitive information such as:
- Passwords
- OTPs
- Bank account credentials
- Trading account credentials
- Credit/debit card information
- Authentication codes
- Private financial documents
- Other confidential personal information
Be careful when communicating privately with people you do not know.
OurPaisa will never ask you to publicly disclose passwords or OTPs.
6. No Spam
Do not repeatedly post:
- Unwanted advertisements
- Promotional messages
- Referral spam
- Repetitive content
- Irrelevant links
- Automated promotional posts
- Excessive self-promotion
Relevant and transparent sharing of your own work may be acceptable when it genuinely contributes to a discussion.
7. No Manipulation or Misleading Financial Promotion
Users must not intentionally manipulate community members through deceptive financial claims.
Examples include:
- Fabricating profits
- Creating fake screenshots or performance records
- Pretending to have information you do not have
- Coordinating deceptive promotional activity
- Presenting speculation as confirmed information
- Promising guaranteed returns
- Misrepresenting ownership or professional credentials
8. Authentic Accounts
Do not:
- Impersonate another person
- Create accounts intended to deceive users
- Misrepresent your identity or credentials
- Use another person’s account without authorization
You may participate under a username or display name, but you must not use it to deliberately deceive others.
9. Respect Intellectual Property
Only post content that you have the right to share.
Do not upload or reproduce copyrighted material in a manner that infringes another person’s rights.
If you believe content on OurPaisa infringes your rights, contact us through the appropriate reporting or grievance channel.
10. Illegal or Harmful Content
Do not use OurPaisa to distribute or promote content that violates applicable law or creates serious safety or security risks.
This includes content involving:
- Fraud
- Malware
- Hacking or unauthorized access
- Identity theft
- Financial scams
- Illegal transactions
- Threats of violence
- Other unlawful activities
11. Keep Communities On Topic
When posting in a community, try to keep your content relevant to that community’s subject.
For example, a post about ETF investing belongs more naturally in an investing-related community than in an unrelated discussion.
Moderators may move, restrict, or remove posts when necessary to maintain useful discussions.
12. Reporting Content
If you see content or behavior that violates these Guidelines, use the available reporting mechanism or contact OurPaisa.
When reporting, provide enough information for us to understand the issue.
False or malicious reports intended to harass another user may themselves violate these Guidelines.
13. Moderation
OurPaisa may review reported or automatically flagged content.
Depending on the circumstances, we may:
- Leave content unchanged
- Remove content
- Restrict content visibility
- Warn a user
- Temporarily restrict an account
- Suspend an account
- Permanently terminate an account
The action taken may depend on the seriousness and frequency of the violation.
14. Repeated Violations
Repeated violations may result in stronger enforcement action.
Attempts to circumvent a restriction or suspension by creating new accounts may also result in further restrictions.
15. OurPaisa Does Not Guarantee User Content
User-generated content represents the views and experiences of individual users.
OurPaisa does not guarantee that user content is:
- Accurate
- Complete
- Current
- Professional
- Suitable for your circumstances
Always independently verify important information before relying on it.
16. Financial Safety Reminder
OurPaisa is a discussion platform, not a substitute for professional financial, investment, legal, tax, or other professional advice.
Do your own research and consider obtaining professional advice where appropriate before making financial decisions.
