Referral & Cashback Terms

This page explains how the OurPaisa referral programme works: how referral rewards are earned, reviewed and paid out. It applies together with our Terms & Conditions and Community Guidelines. If there is a difference between this page and the Terms & Conditions about the referral programme, this page applies to the programme.

1. Eligibility

To take part, you need a valid OurPaisa account in good standing. Referral rewards are subject to the programme rules on this page.

OurPaisa may restrict or reject rewards linked to fraudulent, abusive, duplicate, spam or otherwise invalid activity.

2. How Referral Rewards Work

Every eligible user has a unique referral link that they can share. For a referral to qualify, the person you refer must:

1. Register through your referral link.
2. Complete email verification.
3. Publish their first valid post, following the Community Guidelines and OurPaisa posting rules.

Only when all three conditions are met does the referral become eligible for a reward. You then receive ₹25 for that qualified referral, subject to the programme limits below.

A valid post is genuine content that follows our rules. Posts that are spam, mostly links, repeated, empty, or removed do not count.

3. One Reward Per Referred User

• Each referred user can generate only one referral reward.
• More posts by the same user do not create additional rewards.
• Duplicate referral attempts or repeat registrations do not create additional rewards.
• The programme has a single level. You can earn only for people you refer directly. There are no multi-level or team commissions.

4. Review Hold

New rewards stay as Pending Cashback for 48 hours. During this time we may check that:

• The qualifying post still exists.
• The account remains eligible.
• The activity does not appear fraudulent or abusive.
• The referral meets the programme requirements.

If the qualifying activity is no longer valid, OurPaisa may reject the pending reward. Rewards that pass the review become Available Cashback.

5. Monthly Limit and Programme Limits

Initially, up to 20 successful referrals per user per calendar month can earn a reward.

OurPaisa may change programme limits for the future. The current limits are always shown on your Refer & Earn page. We will not retroactively remove legitimate rewards that have already been approved, except where these terms allow it, for example because of fraud, abuse, error or unlawful activity.

6. What Referral Cashback Is (and Is Not)

Referral cashback is a promotional reward generated under the OurPaisa referral programme. In the app you will see these terms: Referral Rewards, Cashback Earned (rewards that are pending, available or paid), Pending Cashback and Available Cashback.

Referral cashback is not:

• A bank account or deposit
• A stored-value wallet or payment account
• A peer-to-peer money transfer service
• A financial product, and it does not earn interest

It cannot be deposited into, transferred to other users, or spent on OurPaisa. It can only be requested as a withdrawal as described below.

7. Withdrawals

• The minimum withdrawal is ₹100.
• Withdrawals are made in multiples of ₹25.
• You must provide a valid UPI ID. You can have one open withdrawal request at a time.
• Requests are subject to validation. OurPaisa may reject invalid or fraudulent requests.

Approved payouts are processed through the payout method OurPaisa uses at the time, currently UPI. Processing times may vary.

Please make sure the UPI ID you provide is correct and belongs to you, or that you are otherwise authorised to use it for the payout. If a request is rejected for reasons that do not involve fraud or abuse, the cashback returns to your Available Cashback.

8. Fraud and Abuse

The following are not allowed:

• Referring yourself, or creating duplicate or fake accounts to earn rewards
• Automated or bot registrations
• Spam or low-quality posts created only to qualify for a reward
• Manipulating referral tracking, or exploiting technical bugs
• Repeated or fraudulent withdrawal requests, or providing false information
• Any attempt to get around the referral limits

If we see suspicious activity, OurPaisa may:

• Flag it and investigate
• Place rewards on hold or reject pending rewards
• Cancel rewards that were created by fraud or by error
• Reject withdrawal requests
• Suspend or restrict participation in the referral programme

We aim to act proportionately. Weak signals alone, such as people sharing a network, are looked at carefully before any reward is rejected. These steps relate to the referral programme and the rewards connected to the activity in question.

9. Referral Links and Tracking

Your referral link contains a referral identifier, for example ourpaisa.com/?v=signup&ref=XXXXXX. We use it to attribute a new registration to the person who shared the link.

To do this, we may remember the identifier on the visitor’s device using a cookie or similar session mechanism for a limited period. Referral attribution is decided from OurPaisa’s own records. See our Cookie Policy for more on cookies.

10. Privacy

To run the programme, we may process referral and payout information, including: the referrer and referred accounts, referral and qualification status, reward amounts, withdrawal details, UPI ID, payout reference, fraud and security information, and audit records.

Personal information is handled according to the OurPaisa Privacy Policy. We use this information only as needed to operate, secure and audit the programme and to pay out rewards.

11. Tax and Reporting

Referral rewards may have tax or reporting implications depending on applicable law and your circumstances. You are responsible for complying with applicable tax obligations. OurPaisa may keep records of rewards and payouts as required for accounting, compliance or legal purposes.

12. No Guarantee of Earnings

Referral rewards are promotional rewards and are not guaranteed income. The amount a user can earn depends on the number of eligible and successfully qualified referrals.

13. Changes to the Programme

OurPaisa may change the reward amount, monthly limits, minimum withdrawal, eligibility requirements, qualifying activity and other programme rules. Changes apply to the future, unless the law requires otherwise or a change is needed to correct fraud, abuse, a technical error or unlawful activity.

When these terms change, we will update the version and dates at the top of this page. The current programme settings are always shown on your Refer & Earn page.

14. Suspension or Discontinuation

OurPaisa may suspend or discontinue the referral programme. If that happens, legitimate rewards that were already approved will be handled under the programme terms that applied to them. Pending rewards remain subject to review. Fraudulent or invalid rewards may be rejected.
