Find something
Use the search box or browse a category. Search shows exact matches first. If there are none, we say so, and you can choose Explore more to see related listings. Set your place (state, district and city) to see what is near you, or choose All India.
Sell an item
- Choose Post, then Sell an Item. You need to be logged in.
- Fill in the details. The questions depend on what you sell. For example, a phone asks about storage and battery, a vehicle asks about papers.
- Add photos. Up to 10 photos for an item. We resize them and save a copy on our server.
- Preview and publish. A valid listing goes live straight away. You can save an unfinished listing as a draft; drafts are kept for 14 days.
Optional checks for items such as phones (warranty, bill, box, accessories) are answered by you, the seller. For phones there is also an optional free phone self-check that runs in your own browser. See Marketplace guidelines for how to describe an item honestly.
To limit spam there is a daily limit on how many listings you can publish, and you can keep up to 5 drafts.
Post a Buy Request
Describe what you want, your budget and your area, add up to 4 reference photos if they help, and publish. People who have the item can message you.
Jobs & Services
- A customer posts a job request with the kind of work, the area and when it is needed. Workers see the area, not your exact address.
- Workers and service providers tap "I'm interested" or message the customer.
- Customer and worker chat and agree the details themselves: price, time, address and payment.
- The customer can close the job when it is done, and reopen it if they still need help.

Chat
Use Message on a listing, Buy Request or job. There is one conversation per person per listing. Messages are plain text, up to 1,000 characters, and links are limited to keep spam down. Replies appear in Chats in My Market, with a notification. Only the two people in a chat can open it in Market.
Saved items and notifications
Tap the heart to save a listing. Your saved list is private to you. Notifications tell you about new messages, interest in your job, and decisions about your listings. They appear inside Market; Market does not send them by email or push.
Managing what you posted
From My Market you can edit, change the price, mark as sold or closed, pause, reopen or delete your listings, Buy Requests and jobs. A deleted post disappears at once and its data is removed completely after 30 days.
Reports and moderation
If something looks wrong, use Report on the listing. Moderators review reports and can remove a listing or block an account. A single report never removes a listing on its own. See Report a listing, job or problem.
Featured listings and advertisements
OurPaisa can mark some listings as Featured, and the Market homepage has a banner space that is always labelled Advertisement. Market has no payment system for these. Featured and advertised items are not checked or endorsed by OurPaisa.
