Market terms of use

These terms apply when you use OurPaisa Market. They add to the OurPaisa Terms & Conditions, which apply to your OurPaisa account as a whole, and to the OurPaisa Privacy Policy. If something here conflicts with the main OurPaisa Terms about Market, these Market terms apply to Market. By using Market you accept them.

Who can use Market

You must be legally able to use OurPaisa and to make agreements under applicable law. Give accurate account details and keep your login private. You are responsible for what happens under your account.

What Market is

Market lets people post items for sale, Buy Requests, and job and service requests, and contact each other. OurPaisa provides the platform. OurPaisa is not a party to any sale, purchase, job or service arrangement between users.

Your posts and chats

• You are responsible for everything you post: listings, Buy Requests, job requests, photos, descriptions, answers about warranty, bill, box, device self-check results, and messages.
• Your posts must be accurate, lawful and follow the Marketplace guidelines.
• Only post photos and text that you own or have the right to use. You keep your rights in them. You allow OurPaisa to store, resize, display and promote them within Market and on OurPaisa so that the service works.
• Posts are visible to other people. Do not put in them anything you want to keep private.

Deals between users

• Any sale, purchase, job or service is an agreement between the people involved. OurPaisa does not take part in it and does not guarantee it.
• Market has no payment, escrow, refund, return or delivery service. Agree these with the other person.
• OurPaisa does not inspect, verify or certify items, documents, sellers, workers or customers. The phone self-check is a self-check run by the seller. It is not an inspection, certification or warranty from OurPaisa.
• You are responsible for checking an item or the work before you pay, for any tax or legal requirement that applies to your deal, and for meeting safely. Read Safety & Security.

What you must not do

• Post illegal, stolen, counterfeit, misleading or harmful content, or scams of any kind.
• Ask for or collect other people's OTPs, passwords or financial credentials.
• Harass, threaten or abuse anyone, or spam them.
• Use bots or scripts, try to get around limits or security, or interfere with Market.
• Use someone else's identity or photos.
• Use Market for anything unlawful.

Reports, moderation and action we may take

Anyone logged in can report a post. Moderators review reports and may remove or pause a post, mark it for review, block an account from posting or messaging, or take other steps to protect people or to follow the law. We may do this without notice. Moderator actions are recorded in an internal log. See Report a listing, job or problem.

Featured listings and advertisements

OurPaisa may feature some listings and may show advertisements, which are labelled. Featured and advertised content is not checked or endorsed by OurPaisa. If you follow an advertiser's link you leave Market and their terms apply.

Intellectual property

Market's design, text, logos and software belong to OurPaisa or its licensors. You may not copy or reuse them without permission. To report content that infringes your rights, see Report.

Availability and changes to Market

We try to keep Market running but do not promise it will always be available or error-free. We may change, pause or remove features, and limits (for example on posts, photos, messages and reports) may change.

Responsibility

Please read the Marketplace disclaimer. In short, to the extent the law allows, OurPaisa is not responsible for what users post or do, for deals between users, or for losses from them.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they were last changed. Using Market after a change means you accept it.

Governing law

These terms follow the laws of India, as the OurPaisa Terms & Conditions do. Disputes are subject to the courts that have jurisdiction in India.
